Tonight I had to capture this exchange of Addy and Luke brushing their teeth. Addy is determined to help Luke learn how to properly brush. She has taken it into her own hands to be his personal brusher. I think she is doing a good job. Good thing Luke does too!
Looks like we're almost out of princess toothpaste. I guess I will be making a trip to the store tomorrow.
If anyone who reads this blog is interested in doing a photo shoot this Springor Summer please let me know. I want to get my creative juices flowing again. ***Addy said her first scripture in Primary. She did it like a pro! This girl is going to be an orator someday. She was so calm and natural in front of the microphone. Should I be worried?
*** Today at dinner Addy exclaimed... " I am so intelligent," and well if she can come up with that word then I would have to agree with her.
***When Luke woke up this morning his diaper had broken off one side and slipped down to the bottom of his footed PJ's. It was so funny picking him up and feeling his little bare bum. Not so fun cleaning up all of the wet mess in his bed. Oh well. He still makes me smile in the morning.
***We had Mom and Dad L. visiting from AZ this weekend. They had to cut their trip a little short, due to inclement weather tomorrow. As they were leaving tonight Addy clung to my mother in law and said... take me with you, I want to go to Arizona too. Then I informed her that if she wanted to go she would have to go alone. She was fine with that. Not the response I had expected. Grandma quickly chimed in with "I will take you alone when your older Addy." Then, here's the kicker... "I am older Grandma! I am older!"
***I made yummy vegetable soup for dinner tonight, thanks Adrienne. It was so healthy and good. I just wish my kids had eaten more of it! I guess I will just keep trying.
*** James has work off tomorrow. YEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!That's all I have to say about that!
This year I am going to strive to play with mykidsmore and worry about my house less.
*** Post note... As I was writing this original post I heard water dripping somewhere in my house. I looked around the corner to see my first floor bathroom and laundry room both flooded from a wad of toilet paper being flushed/stuck down the toilet. Yes, the water was not only flooding those rooms it was also running down the stairs to the basement and the entire landing in the basement was flooded as well. I did not freak out though. I just realized... this too shall pass, at least once the water is all cleaned up!
Addy sang "I am a Child of God" at my Nana's memorial service today. It was one of the sweetest things I have ever seeing in my life. She was perfect in every way and I couldn't be more proud of her! She was a little angel up there singing. We all felt Nana's presence so strongly. What a great tribute to her AMAZING example and life. We truly miss her!
While visiting DC my mom found a diary from my Nana when she was 16 years old. We have had so much fun reading all of her crazy "love" stories, her thoughts, hopes and dreams. This entry was the most poingnent to me though...

These experiences they were all a part of life - this great life! My main belief is our prupose on earth is to do what God wants us to do. Not to please ourselves and our petty desires. My goodness this world isn't ours. Who are we to think we can go our own way without consulting God in prayer. I love him more then anyone else ever and nothing will come first. Wish I had enough gumption to be a missionary. Mother says I can't get married until I am older. I don't want to. Not until I learn to accecept respectuflly.
