Mom visit

Hi everyone... sorry it has been so long since my last post. I have been enjoying a visit from my mom this week. We have loved having her here to take care of us. Addy has been fighting fevers and illness for the past month. This week she was diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth virus. She is feeling better now though so that is wonderful! I will post more soon...just wanted you all to know we are still alive!

Heavy Lifter

Addy has taken to lifting very heavy objects and carrying them around the house. Here is her new favorite weight for working out... The Scriptures. When she came walking into the kitchen with these I had to capture it on film. She was trying so hard not to drop them.

This picture I know is a little out of focus but she looks so cute!

KU B-Ball

Before we even found out we were pregnant with Addy James came home one day with this cute baby out fit for our "future child". I thought it was so cute. This is the first time Addy has been able to fit into it so we surprised James when he came home from work today. He was happy to see his little girl already sporting one of his favorite college teams. I also decided to decorate a play area for Addy in our small space with educational posters. She seems to really like them. She was so excited when she saw them for the first time. She kissed them all! It was really cute!

Shout Out...

I just wanted to send a shout out to my "best friend" Adrienne on her Birthday today! Happy Birthday girl! I wish we were there to celebrate with you! We will just have to do some serious celebrating next time we see each other! I love you and hope you have the most wonderful Birthday ever!

Well as some of you already know we are expecting a new little addition to our family come December 24th (Ahhhh...yes a Christmas baby)! We are so excited! Addy is already giving my tummy kisses. Its so cute. I think she will be a great big sister. Three days ago we got to see the baby on the ultrasound The Dr. said that everything looks good, and that there is only one baby in there. (I have been having fears that I was having twins or triplets). As for me, all my favorite pregnancy symptoms have hit me full force. I must say I am not a big fan of the first trimester of pregnancy. I only have one or two more weeks until my nausea and vomiting should go away (we shall see). I try to take advantage of the time when I have energy to get stuff done around the house but for the most part I feel like crap! At least I have Addy to keep me smiling during the day and James to take care of me at night.

Addy is getting so big every day. She has started giving kisses to everything and anything around her. It is a precious sight. This morning during our family prayer Addy was going back and forth kissing James and me. Ahhhh...she makes me melt sometimes.

Recently though she has been waking up two to three times a night. I thought we were through with this waking up during the night thing. I know she is getting a tooth but she doesn't seem to be in pain she just wants to be with Mommy and Daddy. Last night I resorted to the Pick Up / Put Down method which is what I used with her when she was 9 months old. She cried with me next to her for 1 1/2 hours. It was a rough night. I just hope this doesn't continue much longer. I don't have the energy to be up with her at 2 and 3am. Any suggestions on getting her to sleep thought the night at this stage would be greatly appreciated!

Baby Matthew Photo Shoot

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Baby Matthews photo shoot. There are a few of Addy in there that I couldn't resist.
