Texas Adventures

So its been three weeks of traveling now. Addy has been doing Great! I am so proud of how she has adapted to each new location we have traveled to. This week we were visiting my sister in law and her family in Dallas TX. I have to say one thing... I LOVE TEXAS! Beautiful, affordable neighborhoods, wonderful loving people, great shopping! Who could ask for more? Anyway, Lyssa just welcomed a new little boy into the family. Matthew Sean. He is so cute, and such a good baby. I am so amazed at his calmness. He just sleeps and eats and hardly ever cries. It makes me remember when Addy was a week old. I think I got 5 hours of sleep total the first week of her life. Needless to say she was extreemly challenging. Not this little one though. He is a joy to be around, it makes me remember how innicnet and helpless newborns are.

Addy has been having a wonderful time playing with her cousins, Taylor, Austin and Jake. She learned to sing "Jesus wants me for a sunBEAM." I will have to take a video of it...its to cutest thing I have ever seen! Here are some cute pictures of our Texas adventures!

Addy Turnes One

I know this post is almost a week over due but I wanted to show you all some pictures of Addy's first birthday cake experience. I have not given her much sugar in her young life so she was on suger overload with gobs and gobs of frosting from her cake. She was so sweet to try and share though with everyone around her. Here are some of my favorite pictures. I can't believe I have a little girl longer a baby (espically now that she is walking...AHHHHH) She is so cute when she toddles around the house. Every day she gets more and more confident in her walking skills. We were in Washington DC visiting family for her first birthday and were surrounded by everyone who loves her most. I felt so lucky to watch her interact with her Aunts and Uncles and grandparents. She loves them all so much and they love her too! What a lucky girl!

Sharing cake with mommy...and everyone elseIt's getting close to nap time can you tell?

Ok so I am so happy that Andy picked Tessa. I was throughly confused by the ending of the show though. I mean seriously did they have to play it up that Andy was in love with BOTH girls. I wonder what Tessa thought when she was watching Andy and Bevin together. I would have been so bugged. I guess we shall see on the show tomorrow... After the Rose. I will try to get the inside scoop from my neighbor friend. Although I am not sure how accurate it is going to be.

Till tomorrow...

The Bachelor

Ok so I know that I have not bogged for a while and I will be blogging all about the latest LeCheminant Family developments soon. I just wanted to let all of you Bachelor fans know what I just heard. Ok so the background story... I am from DC originally and as we all know Tessa (one of the Bachelor finalists) is too. I was talking with my neighbor in DC today and she said to me "aren’t you excited about the Bachelor tonight?" I of course answered "YES YES YES!!!" " I think it's Tessa" I said...and she said..."Oh no its Bevin" Long story short... she (my neighbor is good friends with Tessa's mom) they have Bachelor parties every week with Tessa's mom and 25 or their closest friends. She said that knowing Tessa she would never move that fast and that she would need more time to get into an engagement with someone. She did say that Tessa's mom said that Andy was VERY good looking and had a great body but she was not too thrilled with his personality.

So this entire time I though Tessa was the classiest girl on the show and I really thought Andy has been taken with her. So now I don't know what to think...with this insider information my dreams of little Tessa’s and Andy’s will be dashed! Oh well. I guess we will just have to see what happens. Apparently the message boards on say it all...Tessa is not the one. We shall see tonight!

Yesterday I had the pleasure to shoot Katie and Joe's engagement photos. It was so much fun to see how in love they are. Here are some of my favorite shots...
